Nisus @ French Resistance

I played the French Resistance Party at Element Lounge last night. It was really a lot of fun. The opening laptop Djs did a great job of playing a bunch of interesting music and the crowd was diverse. There were a bunch of sweaty ass shirtless dudes freaking out and break dancing. The soundsystem in that place is loud. It sucks that it has to be so loud just to get a solid bass freq onto the dancefloor. More subs. The Rane SL 57 mixer was quick to figure out and sounded great, very close to my Urei. It has been a long time since I’ve gotten to play exactly what I want to hear and in an upstanding order. Djing like this is the best. I love it. I hope that SF will embrace my sound. It seems that people like the tracks and how I play them. More gigs please. Viva Le Resistance.
